A DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF MEDICINE AND SCIENCES OF INDIA MAY OPEN IN ALMATY

Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek met with representatives of the International Academy of Medicine and Sciences (International Academy of Medicine and Science). The general director of the academy, Najhawan Rupal, suggested opening an information technology university with a double-degree (Kazakhstan-India) study program in Almaty. The parties discussed the prospects for the development of academic cooperation in the field of medicine, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. In addition, the company intends to build polyclinics and pharmaceutical plants in the country. In turn, Sayasat Nurbek told the head of the international academy about the procedure for opening and registering educational institutions, and also expressed his readiness to establish partnerships on the part of the Ministry. The minister also noted that the academy should build a sufficient number of dormitories for students.
